Who can use StudyCast

• You must be 18 or older, or use StudyCast with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• You must give accurate details and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account.

What StudyCast does

You upload a document. StudyCast uses AI to turn it into narrated audio or video, notes, quizzes and chat answers. See our AI use disclosure. Output can contain mistakes. It is a study aid and not a substitute for your course material, your teacher or professional advice.

Your content

• You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us a limited licence to store and process it, including through the AI providers named in the Privacy Policy, only to provide StudyCast to you.
• You confirm that you have the right to upload it. Do not upload material you are not allowed to copy or share. See our copyright policy.
• Lessons are private to your account. A lesson is visible to others only when you create a share link, and you are responsible for who you send the link to.
• Uploaded files are deleted after the retention window described in the Privacy Policy.

Your output

You may use the output for your own study and teaching. Output is generated from your document, so it may include third-party material. You are responsible for how you use and share it.

Rules

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, and we may remove content in response to a valid notice or an order from a court or government authority.

Service changes and availability

We may change, limit or stop features, including usage limits. We aim for a reliable service but do not promise that it will always be available or error free.

Liability

StudyCast is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss from relying on AI output. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. [LAWYER: confirm the liability cap and exclusions.]

Ending your account

You can stop using StudyCast at any time and ask us to erase your data using the details in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we will update the date above. If a change is material we will tell you before it applies. The version you accepted at signup is recorded with your account.
