Acceptable Use Policy

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. Use StudyCast for studying and teaching, and follow the rules below.

Do not upload or create

• Material you have no right to copy or process. See the copyright policy.
• Content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or that threatens or harasses anyone.
• Anyone else’s personal data, such as ID numbers or private records, without their permission.
• Malware, or files meant to break or probe the service.
• Content that impersonates a person, or that is meant to pass AI-generated media off as real.

Do not misuse the service

• Do not bypass usage limits, rate limits or security controls, or use automated tools to sign up or upload.
• Do not try to access another person’s account, lessons or data.
• Do not resell or republish StudyCast output as a competing service.
• Do not use StudyCast to cheat in an exam where that is not allowed.

Sharing

Only share a lesson link if you are allowed to share the material it was made from.

What we may do

We may remove content, limit features or suspend an account that breaks this policy. Report a problem through the grievance page.
